Resting near the waters of Mobile Bay, the Brookley Aeroplex has an important but unsung history in the local community. This website aims to bring that history to light and show how Brookley Aeroplex has changed over time. From a small municipal airfield that primarily serviced mail flights and the occasional private aircraft, to an essential logistics and maintenance airbase and, finally, an industrial center providing jobs to the community, Brookley Field has cemented itself as a location filled with history and service to the Mobile area and its people.
